47. William Monroe WALBRIDGE ⁽⁶⁾ was born on 8 Jun 1838 in Attica, Wyoming, NY. He died on 9 Nov 1898 in Attica, Wyoming, NY. ⁽⁶⁾⁽⁵⁾ He died of hemorage of the stomach. He was buried in Attica Cemetery, Attica, Wyoming, NY. ⁽⁵⁾ He was a farmer and stock dealer and resided near his father. After his marriage, their first home was on the former Gardner farm on Exchange St. Rd.in Attica. In 1868 William bought the Walbridge farm property and built a new house and barns. This property is now part of the prison tract. He was an influential man in the community. He owned and operated many farms and carried on an extensive cattle business. For many years he owned and managed two meat markets in Attica.

He was married to Eliza Adelia CABLE on 23 Dec 1862. ⁽³⁾ Eliza Adelia CABLE ⁽⁷⁾ was born in Apr 1840 in NY. ⁽⁷⁾ She died in 1925.⁽³⁾ She was buried in Forest Hill Cemetery, Attica, Wyoming, NY. ⁽³⁾ Her parents were from MA. William Monroe WALBRIDGE and Eliza Adelia CABLE had the following children:
