3. Elvira JONES ⁽¹⁾ was born on 5 Dec 1810 in Westford, Otsego, NY. She died on 16 Aug 1905 in Elba, Genesee, NY. She was buried in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Elba, Genesee, NY.⁽¹⁾ She was an invalid for many years.

She was married to Nathan S. GODFREY on 30 Jan 1831.⁽¹⁾ Nathan S. GODFREY⁽²⁾ was born on 15 Aug 1809 in Orange Co. NY.⁽²⁾ He died about 1891.⁽¹⁾ His father was English and his mother was Welsh. He came to the town of Benton and then to Stafford in 1826. His education was derived form the common schools, and he has always been a frmer until he retired. In September 1831, he moved to Elba. Elvira JONES and Nathan S. GODFREY had the following children:
