80. Frank Jay HALLER ⁽²⁸⁾ was born on 29 Jun 1866 in North Java, Wyoming, NY.⁽²⁸⁾ He died on 29 Mar 1935 in Batavia, Genesee, NY.⁽²⁸⁾ Frank J. Haller, 69, died suddenly last evening following a heart attack while attending a school party District No. 3 School at Daws Corners. He was born at North Java in 1866, a son of Mr & Mrs. George Haller and moved to Wyoming with his Parents when he was four years old.
At the time of his mother's death, he went to the home of Joseph Chaddock of Linden, where he lived until January 1891, when he moved to Buffalo. Mr. Haller resided in that city for twenty years where he was connected with the United States Express Co. and then returned to Genesee Co. in, 1912 where he had since made his home. In-1914, Mr. Haller purchased the farm on the Batavia-Elba Townline Rd., his present home.
Surviving Mr. Haller are his wife, Mary Matthis of Attica, whom he married in 1889, four daughters, Miss Ruth G. Haller,, at home, Mrs. Charles Wickens of Oakfield, Mrs. John Kelley of Alexander, and Mrs. Thomas Smith of LeRoy; three sons, George D. Haller of Monticello, Leon C. Haller of Montour Falls and Frank A. Haller at home; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Anderson of Stockton, Mrs. Bert Wildman of Erie, Pa. and Mrs. Lucille Jones of Portland, Ore., and several grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Haller will be held at his late home at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon, the Rev. H. C. Rossman of Oakfield, officiating.

He was married to Mary C. MATTHIS (daughter of Miehel [Michael] MATTHIS and Mary) on 29 Jul 1889 in Middlebury, Wyoming, NY.⁽²⁸⁾ Reverend J. S. R. Rasmussen Solemnized the Marriage. Mary C. MATTHIS died on 20 Jul 1943 in Batavia, Genesee, NY.⁽²⁸⁾ Frank Jay HALLER and Mary C. MATTHIS had the following children:
