140. John Raymond WICKS ^(16)(22) was born on 14 Mar 1914 in Batavia, Genesee, NY.⁽¹⁶⁾ He was born at 16 Ellsworth Ave. He died on 24 Feb 1971. ⁽⁴⁶⁾ He died of a heart attack. He was a toolmaker at Buerk Tool & Machine Corp., Buffalo, NY. He was a member of Buffalo Garden lodge of the IOOF and the the United Methodist Church. Jack would take a truck load of potatoes and drive them to PA and sell or trade them for coal or coke for the furnace at West Main Rd. house.

He was married to Mildred Agnes GIBLIN on 23 Jun 1937. Mildred Agnes GIBLIN was born on 19 Mar 1917. She died on 1 Nov 2001 in Cheektowaga, Erie, NY. ⁽¹⁶⁾ She was the grandmother of 15; great-grandmother of 12. Funeral t at SHEPARD BROS. FUNERAL HOME, 10690 Main St., Clarence. She was buried in Clarence Filmore Cemetery.⁽¹⁶⁾ John Raymond WICKS and Mildred Agnes GIBLIN had the following children:
