139. Loren Hammond WICKS ⁽¹⁶⁾ was born on 28 Nov 1909 in Batavia, Genesee, NY.⁽¹⁶⁾ He was born on Ellsworth Ave. He weighed 10 pounds. He died on 24 Aug 1972 in Genesee Memorial Hosp., Batavia, Genesee, NY. ^(16)(46) Loren died of a stroke after two days in the hospital. He was buried on 26 Aug 1972 in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Elba, Genesee, NY.^{(8) (16)} Services were conducted by Rev. James W. McConell. Loren lived at the family home, 4035 West Main Road, Batavia, NY. and was an employee of EN Rowell Co. for 46 years. He was a member of the First Methodist Church, Batavia Lodge 475 F&AM, Town of Batavia Fireman's Exempt Club, the Loyal Order of the Moose, and the Sons of Union Veterans.

He was married to Marian BATES (daughter of Francis BATES and Ruth BOLTON) on 5 Sep 1931. Marian BATES was born on 27 Oct 1911 in Clarendon, NY.⁽⁸⁾ She died on 4 Jan 1983 in Batavia, Genesee, NY.⁽⁸⁾ She was buried in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Elba, Genesee, NY.⁽⁸⁾ Loren Hammond WICKS and Marian BATES had the following children:
