15. James Harvey WEEKS (photo) was born on 29 Apr 1843 in Elba, Genesee, NY. He died on 1 Dec 1917.⁽⁴⁾ He died of heart failure. He was buried on 4 Dec 1917 in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Elba, Genesee, NY.⁽⁴⁾ Mrs. Mary J. Weaver of Batavia and Rev. David Barton of GlensFalls, officiated at the services. He was a member of the Friends Church.

He was married to Frances J HOWLAND (daughter of David HOWLAND and Rhoda HARKNESS) on 24 Sep 1862 in Adams, Berkshire, MA.⁽⁴⁾ They lived and married in Adams, MA. In 1846, they moved to Elba, NY Frances J HOWLAND⁽⁴⁾ (photo) was born on 22 Sep 1843. She died on 29 Mar 1909.⁽⁴⁾ She died of tuberculosis. She died at her home. She was buried in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Elba, Genesee, NY.⁽⁴⁾ She was a member of the Friends Church and the Elba Grange.

He was married to Carrie B ASHLEY on 1 Jan 1912 in Adams, Berkshire, MA.⁽⁴⁾ Carrie B ASHLEY⁽⁴⁾ was born about 1865.⁽⁴⁾ She died on 20 May 1927 in Moravia, NY.⁽⁴⁾ Rev Thomas Sherwood officiatied at the services. She was buried in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Elba, Genesee, NY.⁽⁴⁾ In 1918, Carrie was on the Empire State Express Train, which wrecked at Amsterdam, NY. She was not hurt.
